Her beauty permeates
through her soul
masking the deep veins
of strength and vigour
a story lies within
of sacrifice and love
as she travels
from the ancient times
leaving a lingering scent
wherever she goes.

Petals falling
gracefully
in their own time
receiving
releasing
for others to flourish.

Gazing far beyond the busy streets
she postures
to trails of familiar voices and laughter
she listens and glistens
tears on her veins
she leans on
reaching out
to the shimmering sun
to free her spirit.

Love, dissolving
in the silent wind,
heart,
embracing reality
of the voiceless love
that runs deep
in her veins
petals, surrendering
in the shadows,
a timeless story lives.
